Interface and User Experience Design
Implementing a color scheme built with softly tinted neutrals reduces eye strain during long usage sessions, which improves the overall experience. To keep things familiar for current users, we focused on streamlining tasks and work flows to increase productivity.
Likewise, scattered interface elements were refined into contextually relevant menus and action panels, reducing the steps needed to complete tasks. Less visual clutter equals more efficiency.
No matter the size of the property, GoConcierge is a system conducive to streamlining the processes within the hotel. It is such an user-friendly system. It helps our team be as prepared as possible to help our guests.

Designing the mobile app
In order to translate this complex desktop app into a mobile version, we looked at what core features would make sense for mobile and the reduced screen size.

Refreshing the Brand identity
We preserved the brand’s heritage by carrying over the 5-star design into the new logo. 5 stars represent the pinnacle of excellence in hospitality so this was a natural fit. A new typeface and updated brand colors give the new identity a more modern look and feel, which is crucial in this highly competitive industry.

Results
Starting with a solid strategy ensured the final product would hit the mark. The rollout of the new app was painless, and met with great enthusiasm from their clients. Later on that year, GoConcierge leveraged a buyout from Alice Hotel Systems, and the app was integrated into their suite of hotel management products.
